Thinking about working in Hollywood but don't know how much money you could make? Wonder no more.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, TV actors can make between $15,000 and $100,000 per episode on a network or cable show's first season, while their A-list film counterparts can earn between $5 and $20 million. The magazine said Oscar-winning actress Meryl Streep made $5 million for her work on "Ricki and the Flash," a film released this year.
The magazine added that film directors can make between $500,000 and $3 million per movie. TV directors working on one-hour dramas make about $42,000 per episode, while sitcom bosses rake in $35,000.
Most stunt doubles make $889 a day, or about $50,000 a film, if they work every day of a three-month shoot. They do, however, have to pay for their own insurance.
Extras, on the other hand, make about $150 a day, but make $200 if they work in rain, smoke or if they wear a hairpiece, the report said.
